The Edo State commissioner for Information and Strategy, Prince Kassim Afegbua, has reaffirmed that the administration of Governor Monday Okpebholo remains committed to maintaining close and meaningful connections with citizens across all levels of society.
Speaking at the Ministry’s headquarters in Benin City during a courtesy visit by the management team of Circuit Ewaen Studio Genius Creative Hub, Afegbua said the government views public service as a platform for serving the common good and empowering citizens.
He announced that the Ministry will partner with the Creative Hub to support advocacy initiatives that use short films to create awareness and drive positive behavioral change across Edo communities.
“Governor Okpebholo believes that governance must stay connected to the people. This collaboration aligns perfectly with our mission to communicate government policies effectively and inspire civic participation through creative storytelling,” the Commissioner said.
Afegbua commended Mrs. Isimeme White, chief innovation officer of Genius Creative Hub, describing her as “a diligent and inspiring ambassador of the younger generation for whom failure is not an option.”
