
A humanitarian and Founder of the Evangeline Green-Orizu Sanitary & Life Aid Foundation, Mrs Evangeline Green-Orizu, has been conferred with the prestigious Peace Ambassadorship Award of Nigeria under the Peace Ambassadors Advocacy Network and was officially appointed as a Global SDG Ambassador under the United Nations Association on Climate Change and Control (UNACCC).
The double honour, conferred on her in Abuja, is in recognition of her relentless humanitarian services, commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and her alignment with the values of global peace, sustainability, and human dignity.
Evangeline got the Peace Ambassadorship Award for her sterling humanitarian qualities, selfless service to the poor, and valuable contributions to society and Nigeria at large.
Through her foundation, she has led transformative initiatives including numerous outreaches to rural communities, underserved villages, and IDP camps providing sanitary pads, diapers, and relief aids to restore dignity and support the vulnerable populations.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mrs Green-Orizu said: “This award is not just about me; it represents a team that works tirelessly behind the scenes. Every outreach we have carried out, every life touched, and every hope restored have been possible because of a vision shared by people committed to service above self. I am forever grateful to my team, my partners, and my supporters.”
Her official appointment as a UNACCC Global SDG Ambassador further elevates her influence on the international stage, enabling her to contribute actively to advancing climate change solutions, humanitarian aid, and sustainable development in line with the United Nations Agenda 2030.
With her recognition, she reaffirmed her vision to expand grassroots interventions, bridge local realities with global solutions, and inspire transformative change.
