Conte has warned his players that Tottenham knows how to beat them
Following FA Cup semi-final draws that pitched Chelsea against Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea Manager, Antonio Conte has warned his players that the team knows how to beat them.
Conte gave the warning in a chat with reporters after his side beat Manchester United to reach the semi-finals.
He said: “It’s an exciting game and an interesting draw for us,
“In this phase, Tottenham, Arsenal or Manchester City – the level is high.
“Spurs will be difficult to beat. They have shown they are able to beat us. It happened in the second meeting. We’ll see what the result will be in the semi-final.”
The two London rivals will meet at Wembley in April, just under three months on from Tottenham’s 2-0 win at White Hart Lane in the Premier League.
Two goals from Dele Alli ended Chelsea’s 13-game winning streak as Spurs ran out deserved winners, and remains the sole loss Conte has overseen since September.
